HelpDesk 1.6 Pipe.php error

HelpDesk 06.07.2016 2632 Support Status: Closed Solution: Yes efrancou

Hello,

I just installed new 1.6 version. I have an issue, pipe.php is giving the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';' in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/s2/soporte/pipe.php on line 214

I tried replacing with old version of pipe.php and It won't show error anymore but Emails are not being imported yet. Some help would be awesome.

    Good Morning,

Thank you for your support ticket.

Error has been fixed, you can download the package again and replace the pipe.php file.

Will you use the pipeing or php imap feature?

Where can I download the new package? Shall I wait CodeCanyon to make update available?

Just head to our download area.

For PHP IMAP you will not need the pipe.php file.

Have you followed this FAQ article for php imap: https://jakweb.ch/faq/a/128/php-imap-fetch-emails

After setup the account in your operator panel you can test if it is working fine with calling the email.php file in your browser. If the page is blank (it should be) you can still receive an email with an error message what went wrong. If you receive nothing you should have a support ticket created for any unread emails when guests (check settings if they are allowed) or the client (email address) is already registered have sent you an support question by email.

With Gmail it is always tricky, did you follow the steps written in the FAQ article?

As always with Gmail it will be a bit tricky. Once you get the login error, sign out of all your google accounts. Then, visit this link: Unlock Captcha and turn on accessing from less secure apps: Less secure apps.

Already done that. I could send a copy to every email received at Gmail to a local email account. Maybe it's easier.

It should work with Gmail but it will be quite a process until you have the permissions set. We can't really help you there, you would need to try until it works or ask Google.
