Ok, we have found the problem and fixed it.
You can go to our download area and download the latest version of HelpDesk 1.1.3. Unpack the file and upload following two files only:
Both files can be found in the upload directory. That will fix the issue with not saving the message when set to no login required within the settings.

For the register, you need to modify the home.php file, find:

That way the register will work but the link will not show on the site.
To show the latest news to the clients you need to set NO to show for operators plus you need to select the correct department then it will show to the client. The phrase is a bit confusing I have changed it to Show to operators only.

1. Video, we have tested with youtube and vimeo and both work fine, must be something with jwplayer.
2. Please make sure that tickets have departments under the current web projects you have set for the clients. Imagen as a sub category. Go to your operator panel tickets - departments and set departments for your web projects.
3. We will run further tests on IE. On Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Operara it works fine.
