Thank you for your purchase and opening a support ticket.

When you downloaded the package you have following folder structure:

    • changelog
    • documentation
    • update
    • upload

When you uploaded the content of the upload directory into a location on your server of your choice e.g.

    • yourdomain.com/help/
    • help.yourdomain.com

You will have a files and cache directory.

Got it...the instructions did not read like you mean separate directories, it read like you meant files was a sub directory of cache., but I think i see now, as I "do" indeed have a files directory in the main root.

Cool. Another thing I am confused/hung up on is in the Styles, it says Chat Bubble Color, but when I change it, and go to my frontend, unless I am mistakened on what the "chat bubble" is, my box down at the bottom right, stays this color blue 606c88 with a blue and yellow chat bubble? does admin not control that? what is chat bubble colors then?

This are the colours in a conversation. The bubble around the text when someone is writing something in the chat.

Oooooh, lol...gotcha. Thanks. I understand now. To change colors of chat box that slides up from bottom right, I'd have to edit css right?

You can change most of it through the styles settings, however if you want to go deep, you need to edit the stylesheet file.

also, let me ask so you may can answer at same time as previous question...

The instructions for buttons say: Upload the button via FTP into following directory img/buttons/en/, go to the operator panel and your buttons appear with the correct code to implement into your website.

again, i do not have an img/buttons directory???

is there something missing or are the instructions old or what?

That is indeed a mistake, the manual has been updated: https://jakweb.ch/docs/helpdesk/#!/template

However you can upload your own buttons via operator panel.

To replace the slide up images you need to replace following files:

    • img/chat_now.png
    • img/contact_us.png

The upload feature is for the Pop Up and Slide Up / Button feature.

Ok, but I think thats where I am confused at....

Popup/Slide Up "button" feature is different from the bottom right chat box? http://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/3889/f9euV7.jpg

You have the option of three different buttons:

    • Pop Up
    • Slide Up
    • Slide Up / Button (click on a button and the slide up chat will appear)

Of course all buttons have various options, described here: https://jakweb.ch/faq/a/1/button-control-helpdesk

so which is this considered that I am using? http://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/3889/f9euV7.jpg

    the slide up right?

    • avatar Jerome

      That is correct.

Ok, so I if that is the case, then if I upload two images, that shouldl take the place of these being used now then right:

    img/chat_now.png

    img/contact_us.png

No, let me explain it differently.

The upload feature within your operator panels is for buttons like this: https://jakweb.ch/faq/a/1/button-control-helpdesk

This is for Pop Up and Button to Slide Up.

The images you want to replace needs to be replaced by FTP and only FTP, they should have the same dimensions (190px / 150px) or you would need to modify the stylesheet slide_up.css on line 1248 as well.

    The images are located here:

    • img/chat_now.png
    • img/contact_us.png

    Best regards
    Jérôme
