Edit Page 404 Error

CMS 12.12.2016 2431 Support Status: Closed Solution: Yes progressionsz

Is there a way to duplicate a page? and how do I edit it?

I have created a new page from a new category and am trying to replicate the coming soon page.

But every time I try to change something and save it, I get a 404 error page.

I'm trying to add the same css from the existing template, but I keep getting the 404 error page.

I saw the video before contacting you and have already created a page.

My problem is not about creating a page, but editing it.
Evry time I try to edit a page, I get the 404 error.

You click on a page to edit and when you press Save you get a 404?

Please check your full site domain: https://jakweb.ch/faq/a/98/full-site-domain

The domain is set as correctly in the db.php file.

Can you please tell me when you get the 404?

When you click to edit a page or when you try to save it in the administration panel?

Ok, that could be two things.

The post limit on PHP, please check with your host.

or not correct working $_SERVER vars.

Can you send me super admin and ftp access via following form please: https://jakweb.ch/access-form

Can you please turn suhosin off and try again?

Saving a page works, but saving a user or create a new one does not.

I see two possible problems: Blocked url names: newuser, edituser or multi part forms are not allowed on your server.

I'm a shared hosting customer, don't own the server and therefore can't turn suhosin on (don't even know what it is).

I've just tried to add the following in the CSS editing area of the prelaunch page and I still can't save the page.

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="/template/mosaic/css/screen.css" type="text/css" />

    Still get 404 error.

Please contact your host and ask to turn off suhosin just for testing. Something is set wrong, we have tested on 3 servers and no other client has reported this issue.

I see you run cPanel, sometimes you can turn off some php settings there or swap to PHP 7.

    I'm hosted by Namecheap.

So far, the only thing I can do from the php settings in CPanel is switch to php 7.

I've just done it and re-tested, but the error is the same.

Can susosin be turned off just for one customer?

Normally yes via the php.ini file. You can also ask them what is going wrong they usually have more options.

Since I'm in a hurry, I've decided to use another script for this site. I will install the script on another host and domain and see the outcome.
